SBRoads.com is administered by the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments, a joint powers authority of the county and all the cities in Santa Barbara County. SBCAG is responsible for regional transit and transportation planning and is the Metropolitan Planning Organization for the county.

The SBRoads.com Traveler Information Website is a service of SBCAG to provide information and resources for commuters and travelers in the region. The site was funded with a federal grant secured by Rep. Lois Capps and is maintained through funding provided by SBCAG.
